Can't Make Your Appointment?
If you can no longer attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
Cancelling an appointment you no longer need allows us to offer it to another patient and helps reduce wasted NHS appointments.
How to Cancel Your Appointment
You can cancel your appointment in several ways:
NHS App
You may be able to cancel eligible appointments directly through the NHS App.
Anima
Send us an administrative request to let us know you need to cancel your appointment through Anima.
Airmed
You may be able to cancel eligible appointments directly through the Airmed.
Telephone – Cancellation Line
Call 01702 582670, select Option 6 and leave a message.
Please tell us your:

Full name
-
Date of birth
-
Appointment date
-
Appointment time
You do not need to wait to speak to a receptionist when using the cancellation line.
Need to Change Your Appointment?
If you have been sent an appointment booking link through Anima, you can check the available appointments using your link until the invitation expires.
Once you have selected and booked an appointment, we cannot use the same invitation to move your appointment to another date or time.
If you can no longer attend:

Cancel your existing appointment

Submit a new request if you still need an appointment
Please do not book multiple appointments for the same problem while looking for an alternative date.

A missed GP surgery appointment can cost the NHS around £30 in wasted clinical time.
If you no longer need your appointment or cannot attend, cancelling it as early as possible gives another patient the opportunity to receive care.
